(Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, May 21, 2019) –In an elaborate, solemn, and well-attended event, His Excellency David W. Panuelo, President of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), joined his two fellow Micronesian Presidents—Her Excellency Dr. Hilda C. Heine, President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and His Excellency Tommy Remengesau, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau—on Monday, May 20, 2019, in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, held at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Upon arrival into the Cemetery grounds, the Presidential Motorcade was greeted by a line of U.S. soldiers flanking the motorcade route as the thundering sounds of canons rendered salutations to the three Leaders.
