Implementation of the REAL ID Act as it applies to FAS Citizens
The Embassy of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in Washington D.C., and the three FSM Consulates in Honolulu, Guam, and Portland, continue to monitor the implementation of the REAL ID Act. Accordingly, it has come to our attention that citizens residing in some states and territories of the United States may still be experiencing challenges in applying for REAL ID, in particular as it pertains to the continued issuance of temporary and one-year driver licenses and state identifications.
